This is definitely the coolest gun arrangement. It's kind of hard to tell how they work, but I assume you've set range limits on them so they don't rotate arbitrarily.
What is that large spherical object that just appears all of a sudden!?
The shield, guns and health meters are really cool, but was hard to differentiate between them. I suggest adding a small icon next to each to show what they represent. I wouldn't add any labels as icons are easier to identify.
This is all around great.
